Joola Hugo Calderano KL-C Inner Table Tennis Blade
This is an offensive table tennis blade engineered for modern, spin-oriented loopers and attackers who require a harmonious balance between explosive power and wood-like touch. Part of the Hugo Calderano collection, it places composite material closer to the core to maximize dwell time and control.

Key Technologies & Construction
Inner KL-c Composite: KL-c is a hybrid weave combining high-tensile Aramid (Kevlar-style fibers) with stiff Carbon. The carbon provides crisp acceleration and an expanded sweet spot, while the aramid dampens harsh vibrations and softens the impact.
Inner-Ply Positioning: Unlike the KL-c Outer (which sits right under a harder Koto surface for direct, explosive speed), the KL-c plies here are nested directly against the core. On low-impact shots, the blade feels like a flexible all-wood racket, while firmer strokes engage the carbon for sudden acceleration.
Limba Outer Veneers: High-quality Limba wood on the exterior gives the blade a soft, grippy feel on contact. This maximizes ball grab, allowing players to generate heavy spin on openings and topspins.
Playing Characteristics
Spin & Arc: Generates a high, forgiving arc with strong spin potential. Opening up against heavy backspin is effortless due to the extended dwell time.
Touch & Short Game: Because the carbon does not engage immediately on light contact, pushes, drop shots, and service returns remain steady without bouncing unpredictably.
Mid-Distance Rallies: Flexes smoothly during counter-looping rallies. When digging into the ball with full commitment, the inner carbon layer kicks in to supply ample drive to push opponents off the table.
Player Profile
Recommended for intermediate-to-advanced offensive players who base their game on continuous topspin rallies, heavy placement, and tactical counter-attacks rather than pure, flat-hit finishing power. It pairs especially well with medium-hard to hard European/Japanese rubbers (such as JOOLA Dynaryz AGR/ACC or Tronix series) and hybrid sticky rubbers.
