This is an elite, allround-category table tennis blade engineered specifically for combination and disruptive players who operate close to the table. Developed in cooperation with renowned blade expert Achim Rendler, it is widely recognized as a premier weapon for players utilizing long pimples or Anti-Spin rubbers.
Key Characteristics & Performance
Disruptive Effect: The blade is fine-tuned to maximize the disturbing and deceptive spin-reversal properties of long pips, resulting in a flat trajectory and very short, low blocks that put immediate pressure on opponents.
Construction & Feel: It features a unique 7-ply wooden structure paired with a distinct balsa handle. This configuration provides high sensitivity, excellent touch, and supreme ball feedback.
Active Defensive & Offensive Play: Unlike traditional defensive blades that only absorb speed, the Special allows players to transition fluidly into dynamic offensive shots. It supports active strokes with long pimples—such as aggressive pushing and lifting—while maintaining high speed and control for looping or hitting with inverted rubbers.
